Happy Friday! Whose excited about spending some time crafting this weekend?
Not me! I'll be having some summer fun. If you see me now you'd think I started tanning in March, but really it doesn't take much to get dark with this Florida sun. But I have been doing lots of swimming lately though. You should see my son!
This photo was taken in mid May and he's 4 shades darker now. lol.
I loved this action shot of him and decided to create a 12x12 layout out of it. I used the new Come On Get Crafty sketch to help me, along with the Pink Paislee "Hey Kid" (perfect title) paper collection, some Amy Tangerine thicker words, some Pink Paislee chipboard stickers and even some Silhouette diecuts.
This layout came together very quickly (as Gio watched his favorite show and ate lunch), so I didn't really miss out on any summer fun.
I get guilty in the summer if I spend too much time crafting, that's why you probably haven't seen much from me on Instagram or Facebook. I'm a winter/spring/fall scrapper...hehe.
