happy new year.

along with continuing my pocket page documenting this year (which i'll get to later in more detail),  i decided that i wanted to create a lot more traditional scrapbook layouts.

those 12x12 papers are just too pretty to be cutting them into small 3x4 or 4x6 pieces, and showcasing them with photos is what i've been inspired to do more of.

today i want to share 1 of 3 layouts that i recently made.  for the first layout i used leftovers from the Elle's Studio "Good Cheer" collection that i used mostly for my 2014 December Daily.  I also added touches of Chic Tags with a "THIS"  circle, and those pretty gold star rub-ons.  the "2015" label-style sticker by Elle's Studio, and the enamel dots are by My Mind's Eye.

when i took this photo (NYE, right after midnight), i had not filled in what i was grateful for yet, because i wasn't sure if i wanted to list what was grateful for all year, or all month.   i still haven't decided.  lol.

i hope you join me in gathering all your pretty scrapbook paper, the ones you've hoarded for at least 2 years now (because they're so pretty), and use them.  slap some photos on and you'll see how awesome it feels to finally starting using your products.

p.s.  i think this "lowercase letters challenge", that i put myself on this year, will only last through January, because after writing more than half of this blog i had to go back and turn the uppercase into lower.  lol.  what a joy that was!
